It's not bad, the idea of preparing your ship mid-flight is very interesting and makes the game much better. The side-scrolling fighter part of the game was okay. It wasn't very interesting to me, but I don't enjoy side-scrollers that much. The music isn't great, it felt annoying and repetitive. This game has the potential to be very, very good. With that said, I had 2 main issues with the game.

1. The controls. I was using a touchpad on a laptop, so I couldn't easily use one of the cannons.

2. The difficulty of the game. This might be because of the previous issue, but I died twice before I could beat the first level.

Anyways, good work on the game! I encourage you to keep working on it.

Thanks for the feedback! I made this years ago for a game jam, in a fairly short time, but I'm just getting back to work on it.

Whew, mousepad gaming, you're brave haha! I plan to allow key customization eventually, so I think this should fix your issue. Yeah, you were doing half the damage you usually would, and some canon combinations are really great.

Again, thanks for the helpful feedback!
I'm currently trying to decide between two projects, which project to work on for the long term (I'm currently going full time yolo indie). Care to take a look at the other and tell me which you would rather see expanded on as a full fledged purchasable product? Anyway, if you're curious, here's the other project : https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/714777

The art needs to be worked on for longer, as it seems kind of rushed. Also, you have no say in dialogue at all, you can't say anything.

LaraCroft02 responds:

Hi, thank you for you comment. I had exactly 4 weeks to make the whole game, so yes, the art is kinda rushed. The subject this was made for was called 'Immersive space' it didn't really have to be a game, but an Immersive space. I see what you're saying. Next time I make something like this I will think about these thinks.

This made very little sense. It was some weird personality test/ religious crap, and it wasn't very interesting or enjoyable.

EAEverything responds:

At least it had the merit to reveal your personality which is still something.

Thanks for the feedback.

Quite repetitive and boring. The graphics were bad, and just swiping to shoot over and over gets old fast.

pukks responds:

Firstly thanks very much for your review and any criticism I receive good or bad I take on board.
This game was made for android so I lowered the graphics to help older phones deal with the graphics. As this is an android game and I am new to game development I didn't see what other input I could add apart from swiping to shoot. It also sounds like you only tried survival mode which focuses on a lot of swiping at the goal whereas Challenge mode is about the accuracy of your swipe. If You've not tried challenge mode give it a go and if you want to try the android version SEARCH FOR SWIPESTRIKER ON GOOGLE PLAY. Thanks for playing

Hi! I'm just a guy who plays games here, and wants to try to write some music.
